Where we ship

We currently ship to mainland UK, including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, and the Channel Islands. We don't yet ship to mainland Europe or the rest of the world — but we're working on it, and newsletter subscribers will be the first to hear when those open up.

Who delivers your order

All orders are sent chilled with DPD on a 24-hour service. Your parcel is double-wrapped in food-grade insulation with a frozen gel pack, so it stays at fridge temperature for around 36 hours from the moment it leaves the bakery.

DPD will email and text you on the morning of delivery with a one-hour time slot. You can change the day, leave it with a neighbour, or redirect to a safe place via the DPD app — whatever suits you on the day.

Dispatch days

We bake to order, so dispatch happens on Mondays and Wednesdays only — that way every parcel goes out the day it was baked.

Orders placed before 2pm on the day of dispatch will be included in that day's run. Orders placed after 2pm, or over the weekend, will go out on the next dispatch day.

We don't dispatch on Bank Holidays. If a Bank Holiday falls on one of our dispatch days, that order moves to the next available slot — we'll always email to let you know.

When your order arrives

DPD aim to deliver next-working-day after dispatch. So an order placed on a Monday morning will typically arrive on Tuesday; an order placed on a Friday will dispatch on Monday and arrive on Tuesday. Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands may take an extra working day.

Free delivery

Free UK mainland delivery on orders over £45. Cream teas and saffron buns ship free with no minimum spend. A small surcharge applies to Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands, and the Channel Islands — the exact figure is shown at checkout before you pay.

Choosing your delivery date

At checkout you can pick from the next available dispatch dates — at least seven days from today. This gives our bakers enough time to plan their week and make sure your order is on the right day's bake. You can leave a delivery note for the courier in the same step.

Tracking your order

As soon as your order leaves the bakery you'll get a dispatch email with a tracking link. From there DPD takes over — you can follow the parcel in real time, change the address, or pause the delivery via the DPD app.

If something goes wrong

Couriers are couriers — sometimes parcels arrive late, get left in the wrong place, or take a knock. If yours does, email info@philpspasties.co.uk within 48 hours of the expected delivery date with your order number and a photo if relevant.

We replace damaged or missed orders without quibble, and we'll always make it right.

Wholesale & bulk delivery

For wholesale orders (25+ boxes), large corporate gifts, or events, we run a bespoke delivery process — usually a pallet on a chilled vehicle. Email wholesale@philpspasties.co.uk and we'll work out the right option for your order.
